Nik is currently studying in his fourth year of an integrated master’s degree in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge, focusing on organic chemistry. He joined the Ley group in October 2014 to complete a research project as part of this degree and will be graduating in June 2015. Nik will be working under Dr Musio in continuous flow chemistry.
Aside from my studies, Nik has worked as a publishing intern in editorial production at the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Josh has been studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge for the past three years and have just joined the Ley group for his fourth year project (October 2014), where he’ll be working until the end of the academic year.
He has also completed a work experience placement at the Nanoscale Physics Research Laboratory at the University of Birmingham.
His research this year will be focusing on the flow synthesis of peptides using amino acids which are activated as N-carboxyanhydrides.
