Lars Grunenberg

After his junior studies in Chemistry at the University of Bonn (2009 – 2012), Lars joined the Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry with a thesis on ‘Synthetic Studies Toward the Total Synthesis of Stephadiamine’ in Professor Trauner’s group.  During his Master’s studies in Chemistry at the LMU he completed research internships at Bayer Pharma AG in Wuppertal on ‘Catalytic Activity of Bisphosphomonoxides’ and at Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research where he worked on ‘Photocatalytic Activity of selected Hydrazone and Imine Covalent Organic Frameworks’ in Professor Lotsch’s group.
